PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The primary purpose of the internship will be to enhance and expand the suite of asset/liability analysis and management tools used within the Fixed Income Quantitative team.
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    Assist quantitative credit research team on data support related to Corporate issuers
    Research data discrepancies with third party providers
    Construct reports on quality and coverage statistics
    Assist Quantitative analysts with factor research, as directed
    Work with Front Office teams to establish infrastructure required for data loading, reporting, business rules and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS
    Sophomore status in college with a 3.0 or higher GPA required
    Enrolled in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline
    Exposure to Accounting, Economics or Finance discipline, either via classwork, work experience, or personal investing
    Experience with Microsoft Office products
    Experience programming with MATLAB, R, Python or similar language
    Experience with SQL a plus
    Experience with Fixed Income reference data and analytics a plus

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The primary purpose of the internship will be to enhance and expand the suite of asset/liability analysis and management tools used within the Fixed Income Quantitative team.
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist Quantitative Analysts with the development of new quantitative tools and models for evaluating asset and liability portfolio risk measures.
    Maintain and update the existing data systems currently used for risk/return analysis.
    Participate in group meetings and support analytical client requests as part of the Solutions team effort.
    Assist Quantitative Analysts with fixed income research projects, as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum sophomore status in college with a 3.5 or higher GPA required
    Experience with Microsoft Office products
    Enrolled in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, Physics or Actuarial Science
    Working experience with computer programming using VBA, R, C/C++, Matlab or other languages/applications
    Working experience with Matlab a strong plus
