An online system that allows students to view internships, part-time and seasonal jobs, and full-time employment opportunities.UMBCworks allows students to post their professional documents and view an up-to-date calendar of career-related activities.
Job Fairs and Networking Events
We host a series of career and internship fairs as well as industry-focused networking events throughout the academic year, including the Campus Job Fair, a large fall Career and Internship Fair, Summer Job and Internship Fair, Diversity Recruitment Event and a Spring Career Fair. Each fall and spring, UMBC brings local and national companies to UMBC to interview graduating students for full-time and intern positions. Recently, organizations such as GE, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, U.S. Census, Kennedy Krieger Institute, NSA and many others have recruited UMBC’s students.
Employer Campus Visits
Throughout fall and spring, employers visit campus to speak with students about their organizations and jobs. Through scheduled information sessions, UMBC Connects and various other programs, students have the opportunity to connect with hiring institutions and to learn more about their career opportunities.
