Students & Alumni: Get to know Handshake

  • Be sure to upload your resume and complete your Handshake profile (directional video). Check out our Getting Started in Handshake resources too.
  • Appointments can be scheduled on Handshake.
  • Through early Fall semester, those who previously used UMBCworks should:
    • Download their documents uploaded to UMBCworks – resumes, cover letters and other documents will not automatically be moved over from one system to the other, you will need to upload your documents to your new account in Handshake.
    • Continue to check in UMBCworks on the status of any positions they previously applied to.
