PRIMARY DUTIES
- Individual full-time/part-time employment and internship search strategy development for international students
- Resume, cover letter, and personal statement review
- CPT enrollment and instruction
- Administration of the University’s internship, cooperative education and research practicum courses (PRAC 95/98/99, including CPT with ISSS)
- Support for workshops, presentation and professional skill development

- M.A. in International Affairs, The New School, New York City, NY
- B.A. in Psychology, UMBC
- B.A. in Media and Communication Studies (minor in Sociology), UMBC
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
Farhan joined the Career Center in June 2023 and is a UMBC alumnus. He previously worked in multiple non-profit sectors and has conducted academia research on global governance, diplomacy, nation building, refugee crisis, capacity development, and is a humanitarian advocate. He previously worked with many students across U.S. campuses empowering them to the fullest.
