  • Oversee Maryland Technology Internship Program
  • Review and verify MTIP applications & eligibility
  • Liaise with Maryland based employers and state and local agencies
  • Oversee MTIP LinkedIn
  • Manage marketing budget
  • Visit prospective employers and evaluate opportunities for funding
  • Develop & facilitate orientation, training, and onboarding.
  • Tracking program data

  • M.A. in Coaching & Athletic Administration, Concordia University Irvine
  • B.A. in Psychology, Hollins University

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

Britney brings over 10 years of experience in higher education, program development, leadership development, and relationship building to UMBC. She has a passion for program management and driving strategic initiatives to improve student retention and engagement. Prior to UMBC, Britney worked at the University of Richmond. She served in several roles in Student Activities and the Diversity & Inclusion department at Stevenson University. She looks forward to contributing to the success and growth of the Maryland Technology Internship Program.
