The ACS Scholars Program is more than just a scholarship, it’s a network of passionate chemical professionals who want to help and support future chemists during a crucial time in their lives.
The ACS Scholars Program  is a community that is dedicated in supporting underrepresented minority students from high school seniors to undergraduate students who want to enter fields in the chemical sciences. Scholars are selected based on academic standing, financial need, career objective, leadership skills, and involvement in school activities and community service.
Encourage your students to apply for an opportunity to be among the:
  • 300 + Scholar Alumni who have completed a Ph.D. program. Of those, more than 45 have joined university faculty.
  • More than 50% of ACS Scholar Alumni chose to pursue advanced degrees, and half of those have completed or in progress towards a doctoral degree.
  • 90% of ACS Scholars earn baccalaureate degrees with 80% in the chemical sciences.
Learn more about the ACS Scholars Program online or download our informational flyer and help spread the word about this exciting opportunity to your students.
