  • Oversee Maryland Technology Internship Program, Maryland Institute for Innovative Computing Internship Program and the Digital Tech Credential
  • Liaise with Maryland based employers and state and local agencies
  • Develop email/social media marketing plans for MTIP, MIIC and Digital Tech Credential
  • Develop email/social media marketing plans for MTIP
  • Visit prospective employers and evaluate opportunities for funding
  • Plan and run orientation trainings, onboarding and reimbursements
  • Manage program budgets and disbursement of subsidy funds
  • Oversee the Career Center’s social media


  • M.B.A. in Business Administration, University of Maryland, University College
  • B.A. in Communications, Salisbury University


Annie joined the Career Center team in September 2018. Previously, she worked as an Industry Development Specialist at University of Maryland, College Park where she built relationships with new employers and created programming in the healthcare and creative fields. She joins UMBC to support and grow the Maryland Technology Internship Program (MTIP) which provides funding to Maryland employers in the technology space.
