B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
May 2009

Where are you now?
I started working for Pratt & Whitney, August 3, 2009, as a Design/Project Engineer in Middletown, CT.

What was the best part of using the Career Services Center in your job search?
CSC helped me to revamp my resume. I had a resume that I had been using that was not bad but when I went and sat with an advisor she took time and helped me to expand on the things that I had which in turn helped me when I talked to recruiters, highlighting the important things on my resume and made my resume all the much stronger!! Attending the events CSC had, like the wonderful career fairs and the on campus interviews, made me aware of the many opportunities and helped me refine my networking skills!

Any advice you would give to other students?
Start early, learn how to market yourself, be aggressive, and utilize your resources (CSC).
