BEYA STEM Career Fair and Conference

At this year's BEYA Conference, our president, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, will be receiving the top award, The Black Engineer of the Year Award. This is a ticketed, black tie event (black tie/tux or business suit is fine for students). The Awards Gala is sold out.

Consider registering for our Spring Career Fair,
held Thursday, April 4, 2013. The BEYA STEM Global Competitiveness Conference sponsored by Career Communications Group will be held February 7-9. As part of this large annual conference, representatives from several major corporations and universities will be on hand to meet with students pursuing careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields as well as Business, Finance, and Marketing.
The Career Fair portion of the conference, on Saturday, is free of charge for UMBC students and alumni with an active UMBC email address.
The pre-registration deadline is Wed, Feb. 6 (see instructions below). All students are welcome to attend. Contact of the UMBC Career Services Center for additional information.
Dress to impress and bring plenty of updated resumes!
Note: Graduate School Admissions reps will also be in attendance.

Online Registration for BEYA has ended.If you would still like to attend the Career Fair on Saturday, you may register on-site at the fair. In order to verfy your student status and get into the fair for free, please bring your red UMBC Student Id card with you.
