One of the largest Hi-Tech/Diversity Career Fairs in the region; hundreds of employers as well as graduate admissions representatives will be there recruiting students interesting in science, technology, health-related and business careers.

McNair Program
Ronald E. McNair Post baccalaureate Achievement Program provides experiences that prepare students for graduate education. The McNair Scholars Program is designed to prepare first-generation and low-income students, and members of groups who are underrepresented in graduate education for doctoral studies in all disciplines. The program involves students in research, mentoring, and other scholarly activities. McNair participants are from disadvantaged backgrounds and have demonstrated strong academic potential.
Research and Funding Opportunities for UMBC Meyerhoff Scholars
The Meyerhoff Scholarship Program encourages students to conduct research early on in order to gain hands-on experience and to develop a clearer understanding of what studying in the sciences entails. The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
SHPE was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1974 by a group of engineers employed by the city of Los Angeles . Their objective was to form a national organization of professional engineers to serve as role models in the Hispanic community.
The concept of Networking was the key basis for the organization. SHPE quickly established two student chapters to begin the network that would grow to encompass the nation as well as reach countries outside the United States . Today, SHPE enjoys a strong but independent network of professional and student chapters throughout the nation.
