WHAT ARE CORPORATE VISIBILITY DAYS?

Each semester UMBC sets aside several days for partnering organizations to be showcased on campus. Through our Corporate Visibility Days program, your organization has the opportunity to be showcased at UMBC - increasing your visibility as a key employing institution and partner of the UMBC community. Your day will be tailored to your organization's needs and specific goals. Traditional schedules include information sessions, career-related workshops, alumni networking events, lunch and/or receptions, etc. Your Corporate Visibility Day will be preceded with an extensive advertising campaign (see below), allowing all of UMBC's students the opportunity to become familiar with your organization as an employer of choice. The Career Services Center will assist you in designing your day, and will take care of campus advertising and logistics such as parking, reserving facilities, ordering catering and securing audio/visual equipment.

EXTENSIVE CAMPUS ADVERTISING FOR YOUR DAY INCLUDES.....

• Logo/link to your company's website on the Career Services Center website
• Large posters placed in prominent outdoor locations
• Visibility in The Commons via a poster, iNet and LED announcements
• An 8 foot Corporate Visibility Billboard with all participating company logos featured prominently
• Email announcements sent to all students, as well as targeted student and faculty groups
• Flyers distributed and posted throughout campus
• Table tents in campus dining areas
• Campus web announcements on the Career Services Center website & UMBCworks web-based recruitment system
