Business & Dining Etiquette Dinner

Tues., 3/29/2011, 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Skylight Room, The Commons
Pre-registration is required!

Which fork do I use? What if I spill on myself? How do I give a good handshake? Find answers to all of these questions and more while attending our annual program promoting good business manners and networking skills. This is your opportunity to learn what it takes to make a great first impression and to navigate a formal dinner with style. Kate Haislip from the International School of Protocol will be joining us to provide networking tips and guide participants through the fine dining experience. Seating for this dinner is limited and you must preregister here. A confirmation email with specific event details will be sent to registrants prior to the program.

Contact the Career Services Center at careers@umbc.edu, 410.455.2340, or stop by Math/Psych 212 if you have any questions. Sponsorship support provided by the Student Government Association and the Office of Student Life.

By checking this box, I confirm that I will be attending the Business & Dining Etiquette Dinner on March 29, 2011. There will be no charge to UMBC students that register, on a first-come first-serve basis. The fee for alumni to attend is $20. I understand that by registering and not attending, I am preventing another UMBC student/alumnus from participating and causing the Career Services Center to incur monetary expenses as the sponsor of this event.

I am aware that should I fail to attend this event without notifying by Friday, March 18, 2011, my UMBC student account will be charged a fee of $25 to cover the financial costs incurred.
